Here’s one repair that will make your cock disappear into your body and never come out again.......replace the hydraulic suspension line that if it leaks, the flammable fluid hits the catalytic converters and the car goes on fire.......I won’t give you a $$$$ amount but I will tell you that the twin turbo v12 must be removed.

If you get the parts wholesale then it's actually cheaper than an average product in car. is one place. Second those cars are so well built so well engineered and the parts are so superior to let's say Ford, chevy, Dodge, that's they rarely break and if it does it's more likely due to ignorant owners that don't know how to use those cars properly.

If your a kind person theyll try to make it seems like they wan to help you but all they want is some evidence to use against you. have a good day !

  • ltwargssf R
ltwargssf R Год назад not really "simple" it shares almsot all the parts with a E class except the interior and body and you'd be surprised on how over engineered they are for just a c class, mercedes is mercedes so parts are expensive from A class to CL class, its all about knowing where to source them and not getting bend over by your local mercedes dealership.
  • ltwargssf R
ltwargssf R Год назад (изменено) Get 2007-2014 mercedes, before 2007 they were with chrysler which is why mercedes suffered in the early 2000s, and since 2015 they are now with Nissan which again is hurting mercedes, they are the best when they are alone and trying to prove something like that 7 year span 2007-2014 models, now they are just unreliable again with nissan/renault engines..

aekimchee2 Год назад As a former CL owner, I can tell you that the costs are in another league from your C-class. Nothing in the CL was engineered to a price point; it's all "the best it can be," which means the parts costs are often astronomical compared to a C or E-class. It's also rarer, meaning parts are harder to come by and fewer OEM knockoffs are available. Also, the car is a technological tour de force and has a lot of electronics that can be quite finicky to maintain. The ABC alone can cost many thousands of dollars if it goes wrong, and when my CL was randomly shutting off while driving down the road, my mechanic told me, "Of course it's a computer issue, but your car has 13 computers."

captmcneil 5 месяцев назад (изменено) Well, the CL and some new SLs burn money. But what do you expect from a twin turbo V12. It's like a four door Ferrari, including horrid depreciation. What bugs me about the CL is that you get lots of the good stuff (including the very heavy chrome doors) in the much cheaper (and imho prettier and much less vulgar) CLK. Get a CLK 500, they're cheap to run and don't break. I bought a 6 year old CLK 350, had it for 7 years. It cost me like 38 cents per kilometer, including taxes, insurance and repairs, which is cheaper than a new Golf where I live.
  • captmcneil
captmcneil 5 месяцев назад (изменено) @ltwargssf R The important point is you need to keep old luxury cars long enough, then they can be quite cheap. Yeah, if you can work on these cars yourself it saves you lots of money. But I think you don't save that much on your annual service in labor. Fuel alone sets me back 4000 bucks a year. With cars like these, parts are also expensive. An injector pump for a CGI Mercedes (a common fault) will cost you like 2000 in parts alone. In the end you profit from the crazy depreciation. You get a 6 year old 300 horse power Mercedes for 20.000, while someone else paid 50.000 over these 6 years for you. You could fix your engine and transmission several times for that kind of money... if a couple of grand per year are too much for you, don't drive Mercedes.

  • Ret1173
Ret1173 2 месяца назад (изменено) @Kevin Norris That's a popular knock on German cars but having owned many foreign and domestic cars they ALL have problems one way or the other especially if you keep them long enough. I bought CPO, low-mileage Ford Escape from a Ford dealer and had to sink about $1500 into it of uncovered repair work within the first 2 years of ownership. Therefore, if I'm going to pay for maintenance/repair costs I'd rather drive a luxury vehicle than a crappy Ford or Chevy. My friend and business partner has two older BMW X5s (2005, 2013) one of which has cost him a lot of money to maintain but he would rather fix and maintain a luxury car than an ordinary car. In addition, the luxury european cars are for people who are more interested in the driving experience rather than simply getting from point A to point B which you could do on a mule or bicycle.

These cars are designed to have zero hiccups for the first 4 years generally And then it goes downhill fast. Also because most owners of such cars that go beyond 4 years aren't as wealthy as those that constantly switch, but are still wealthy enough to nor really give a shit and often barely treat their vehicles properly. Also while there are more chances of bad vehicles, there's a lot more good cases. My mother's ML350 is bought, kept for 6 years now. She's never even washed the thing. Missed services by months frequently, and even added gasoline to the diesel engine. The car has near 200k km. strangersound 11 месяцев назад Americans are concerned with cup holders because our society and economy involves a lot of commuting. People driving an hour to work is commonplace, so when you are on the car for that long, being able to drink your morning coffee with ease is standard. A "luxury" car not being able to address this simple need is absurd. Design a functional cup holder, build a car around it. Why is that so hard?

  • Milton Waddams
Milton Waddams 7 месяцев назад That's just not true. Range Rover owners take good care of their cars, perfect maintenance often. Yet everything breaks repeatedly because it's badly built and poorly designed. You're effectively saying "all cars are built the same" which is completely untrue. I had a Renault and things were breaking that would never break on any other car. It suffered from a chronic ignition coil failure that plagued the models from that era. That means every few years you needed new ignition coils. Now tell me a Toyota Corolla or Avensis is the same, lol.
  • Tempest374
Tempest374 7 месяцев назад Milton Waddams I’m definitely not saying all cars are built the same, the fuck? You didn’t actually give any facts just your own testimonials, and as you said all cars aren’t built the same, there are German cars that are built like tanks, and there are Japanese cars built like paper. luxury cars are effectively a testing ground for tech, once that tech becomes reliable, the tech trickles down to cars like Toyota. If you cant afford to maintain higher end cars, don’t buy them.

CL 63 here, we have it since 2004, bought brand new, it was the dream car of my dad, and he still owns it. It went to the dealer under warranty, everything else on it was done by him and me in a rent out garage with a bit of help from a mechanic we knew, and the internet. We probably spent 12-13grand in maintenance (excluding oil, filters etc.) in 14 years. Besides, when you buy these cars, buy pristine examples, and most of the work you can do by yourself or at one of those bodyshops where you can rent a spot and work on your car, the mechanics working there will gladly help you out. And trust me, these guys are fucking brilliant.

Mike O 5 месяцев назад @Milton Waddams You are flat wrong. Back in the day, the engineers designed the car they wanted, then took the numbers to the book keepers. Point being, they built them as well as possible. I'm talking W116 and W126. I hope to own a 560SEL or 560SEc someday. Those cars will go for 1 million miles if you keep up with th emaintenance. Only weak spot is the air suspension.
  • Milton Waddams
Milton Waddams 5 месяцев назад @Tempest374 Almost but not quite. Take the Lexus LS400 from the 90s which was a luxury car BUT built well and lasted. Same goes for E-class Mercs from 90s (W124), which back then actually was a luxury sedan. Nowadays car manufacturers know that their main buyers are Arabs who don't care at all about maintenance or how long the cars last, they want to flashiest and most powerful cars and if they cost too much -- even better, they can show off to their fellow sheikhs.
  • Milton Waddams
Milton Waddams 5 месяцев назад @CortMarshal That's not how it works, some replacement parts will just wear out fast because how the car was designed. Unless you're going to rebuild the car (with welding), no way to get around it.

Milton Waddams 5 месяцев назад @Mike O Why are you talking about "back in the day"? 80s and 90s Merc, BMW, Audi were amazing but those cars are only classics now and almost irrelevant. Very few have them for day-to-day.
  • Mike O
Mike O 5 месяцев назад @Milton Waddams I can't see the comment I was replying to, but I stand by what I said. The W126 was built by the engineers, with emphasis on build quality and materials. If you can do your own work that repair bill drops quite significantly, and (I forget his name), but he covered the CL65 and what it costs to repair out of warranty and it really wasn't that bad. Most things are pretty much bulletproof in that car. You might've just had a bad string, it happens to all car makes. Also $650 key replacement, lol.
