  • Pfitz
Pfitz 12 часов назад (изменено) It's 80s as fuck. Not great looking but not bad either. Still 80s as fuck and retro as hell. Way better than the next gen.
  • XBallPaintBallR
XBallPaintBallR 1 день назад TheAnalXylophone ya the 3rd gen are the best looking camaro in my opinion. Still have my 91 Z28 and I love it.
  • XBallPaintBallR
XBallPaintBallR 1 день назад Don Draper I also agree with you. It’s my favourite camaro ever. I still have my 91 Z28 and I still look back every time I park it. It’s awesome to drive and it’s turning heads.... and showing up in new music videos and movies.

  • SteevK69
SteevK69 3 месяца назад (изменено) @ZFormer I'd say - for looks - it's a toss-up between IROC-Z and '87 Monte SS Aerocoupe - for perf - Buick GN. Best of both worlds: '89 Trans Am pace car (without the decals) F-body handling with tuned Buick GN drive train.
  • ZFormer
ZFormer 3 месяца назад The best 80s car to come out of the 80s
  • SteevK69
SteevK69 3 месяца назад @Michael Smith I always wanted Trans Am seats - or at least head-rests from them. For a couple of years, GTA's had head-rests that cranked forward, so you could actually lean your head on it without staring at the ceiling.

  • SteevK69
SteevK69 4 месяца назад @Austin Frazier I bought mine new, in 1987, when I was 33. I had a choice between a used 350 that was a couple thou more than this demo, with an "A" title and full warranty. Also, the 350 was BLACK, and, if my Buick GN taught me anything, it was that a black car always looks dirty. And the blue looked SO good...

Derek Licon 9 месяцев назад Yes. The third gens are one of my favorites. They were very popular back then and are still popular to this day.
  • Ted Brenneman
Ted Brenneman 9 месяцев назад TheAnalXylophone If someone is old enough to remember the ‘80’s fondly, I am willing to bet that they think the 3rd generation is a good looking car. Younger people probably think they are ugly in general. I remember these cars when they were new, and I would have killed to have one.

  • Michael Smith
Michael Smith 9 месяцев назад These are still great looking cars. In fact, I think they've aged better than their 4th gen replacement. Except for the interior. Oh god, but that 80's Camaro interior is truly awful. I had an 88 Trans Am GTA that was SO much nicer inside. I mean, still junk by todays standards, but better than the Camaro, and Trans Am seats are killer.

Rex Johnston 9 месяцев назад What baffles me is of all the shit cars of the 80's, which I have always loved mind you, this is the on (and the fox Mustang) that just can't seem to get out from its yesteryear shadow. I'd like to have one, a decent one, they drove well and looked good, but that feeling even I can't shake. And it's even worse now that I'm 40. I'm sad for these cars somehow.

  • Doug Payne
Doug Payne 9 месяцев назад My favorite generation of the Camaro is the 3rd Gen, it really just has that angry muscle look with the more angular design, those 4 square sealed beams, and it's low stance. The engines of that era didn't make the power that they really had the potential to make but they sounded fantastic, the growl of a mid to high displacement V8 is just really something to experience. It's funny how we can create extremely high output engines now but can't make them as aggressive sounding as engines from the '70s and '80s We do have the Coyote and the LS/LT sounding pretty nasty, but overall you have engines like the Ecoboost range, and the M3's Twin Turbo 3.0 I6 that are quite powerful but don't really sound like much of anything.
  • Don Draper
Don Draper 9 месяцев назад imo its the best looking camaro. its a wide, mean looking car and it came with t-tops. i love square body cars.
  • Mint-Flavoured Sand
Mint-Flavoured Sand 9 месяцев назад TheAnalXylophone Not at all, an underrated car. It could just be me being Australian (we never got these ones) but I think it’s the best looking of all camaros. Sure it’s dated and definitely hasn’t aged flawlessly but it maintains a certain air about it that is higher than the other camaros and is one of the few GM cars I actually like and would consider owning.
  • Alan Velociraptor

Chi Ho Ko 9 месяцев назад one of my apartment's maintenance guy own one of this (not IROC-Z), and the look kind of grown on me after seeing it everyday for the past few years lol. I can't really say its attractive, but it stands out from the crowd of bread shaped modern cars. Really like the rumbling sound it makes.

  • Austin Frazier
Austin Frazier 9 месяцев назад Midnight Mechanic Spot on. For those of us old enough to remember it is literally the embodiment of every jock, Cobra Kai member, and hair metal band from 1987. What’s interesting is many times it takes years of hindsight for such a correlation to be realized. No. Even in 1987 everything this car represents was already fully realized. I will say that with one exception: there were a certain amount of buyers that were the middle age, sensible, wanting a genuine sports car with a back seat and this thing ticked a lot of boxes since the Corvette wasn’t an option. Remember, back then you did not have anywhere as many options as today. So yes by 1987 this gen of F body was already well on its way to “trash class” status you would find some minority owners that were just enthusiasts. The huge thing about this car was it was the first year of the 350 which was supposed to end the 5.0 war (it didn’t). Volumes could be written about this car and it’s connection to the mid to late 80s which is why were are still fascinated by it to those of us that remember the 80s fondly.

  • Robert Hull
Robert Hull 9 месяцев назад It is so beautiful.
  • Midnight Mechanic
Midnight Mechanic 9 месяцев назад It's heavy metal wrapped into a sports muscle car with truck parts. You can hear the Ozzy ringing through the stereo, even when it's off. Didn't even have to be fast, or rear wrangling torquey, just stylish with an iconic V8 rumble. All the 4 and 6 cylinders are wrong, swap them immediately for a V8.
  • Mike likes trains
Mike likes trains 9 месяцев назад It's not my absolute favorite car, but it does look pretty cool. It's like all the best qualities of every '80s muscle car condensed into one vehicle. I tend to prefer the F-body Firebird over the Camaro (for Knight Rider reasons) but, aside from the '69, this generation is my favorite Camaro.

Noah Chiasson Неделю назад peachees I’d disagree. Yea, it’s similar most of the time, but it’s different. It’s what makes him different from the other car reviewers, (not that they are bad) and it’s also interesting in my opinion
