Lucifer 69 Неделю назад (изменено) In games it works becuase your life isn't at risk. In real life it just doesn't. Imagine you're running as hard as you can and a guy running hits you from the side. That is enough to not only tear muscles, break bones, etc., but it can kill you if the variables are right. Now crank that up to 50+ mph instead of the 15 or so mph a human runs.

Kion The Lion Guard Неделю назад Will Stephens you Know these racers have families and I think they want to go home to there family... Alive and plus how are they going to stop when the race is finished and you needs brakes to turn corners
  • Alexander Wood
Alexander Wood Неделю назад Yeah let's just get rid of helmets and roll cages while we are at it.
  • Zoxischillin
Zoxischillin Неделю назад @Lucifer 69 Gosh, Lucifer, you're just a wet blanket in the middle of a some good ole American fun aren't ya? If you ain't dead, you're not doing it right!
  • hydrazombie
hydrazombie 6 дней назад @Lucifer 69 figure 8 not a stop and go when it's clear race, toughs cars are suppose to be built for that type of racing with roll cages and reinforced body and the driver should be wearing a helmet and racing suit
  • Lucifer 69
Lucifer 69 6 дней назад (изменено) @hydrazombie Find the best helmet and wear it. It will not protect your head at all. The same happens with belts, cages, seats, etc. They can help, but there's a limit to how much. Your brain is suspended in a fluid. In an impact your body may stop but your brain keeps moving until it slams into your skull. This is a concussion and there is no way to prevent it other than extending the time you experience acceleration/ deceleration. A hard enough impact will kill you. This is only one example. While figure 8's are fun to watch, they're also very dangerous. This one works because the drivers seemingly value their lives more than winning.

  • lHiTMANll
lHiTMANll 1 день назад @Lucifer 69 ever heard of a hans device?
  • Lucifer 69
Lucifer 69 1 день назад @lHiTMANll You can wear a full body suit and fill the inside of the car with foam. It still won't protect you brain at all. Momentum is conserved. Your brain will slam into your skull, this is the basis for a concussion, but a hard enough impact can kill you. There is no way to prevent this other than increasing the time at which your body experiences deceleration.
  • lHiTMANll
lHiTMANll 7 часов назад @Lucifer 69 which is exactly what a HANS device does you dumb fuck. Why do you think irl and f1 drivers are OK after a 200 mph crash?
  • Lucifer 69

  • Gappie Al Kebabi
Gappie Al Kebabi Неделю назад @tyvek05 Figure 8 track racing began right after World War II, in the late 1940s. The track may have had an overpass so that the cars did not cross each other's paths. Most historians believe that the first track where drivers crossed paths was the 1/5 mile-long Indianapolis Speedrome.[1][2] The sport received nationwide publicity when it was frequently televised on ABC's Wide World of Sports in the 1960s, usually from Islip Speedway in Islip, New York.[3][4]

  • Steve Roberts
Steve Roberts Неделю назад Not a big Nascar fan myself, but I've heard many F1 and GT drivers hopping behind the wheel of a Nascar and running a few laps being left speechless by the experience. It doesn't have the technical turns and brake points etc... But it is an extremely difficult Motorsport. Stop acting like driving 200 mph for 4 hours, inches from 30 other people isn't difficult. It's just not your flavor. No need to bash it like some elitist prick.
  • 05gtdriver
05gtdriver Неделю назад What most European snobs seem to forget is that everything that has entertainment value in the United States must appeal to the masses, not just the rich(as in Europe), so consequently, the racing(among other sports activities) is in front of the viewer, hence the circle style of racing so prevalent here. If you can't see it, why should you spend your hard earned cash on it? Road course and F1 circuit racing is a better indicator of true automobile racing, I agree, but to see a race car pass by you once every 1 to 8 minutes doesn't keep the people interested as much.
  • Cxtastrophy
Cxtastrophy Неделю назад Brian Vogt braindead lol
  • AFTER DARK
AFTER DARK Неделю назад Well tbh over there it's strange to make a car be able to turn any corners. they only make cars to go straight in a line. Turning isn't really needed, they just bump off the curves to steer. Seen it before on videos.. Pretty inventive on saving money on car building, since they don't have to worry about all the steering nonsense.
  • Sterling Crockett
Sterling Crockett Неделю назад @Brian Vogt That's cute. I grew up in Georgia and Texas back in the 80s and watched Ayrton Senna just as much as Dale Earnhardt and Al Unser Jr. To me, Darlington puts on just as good a show as Monza. Good racing is good racing. It's too bad you sound like British or European snobbery, because I'd love to see NASCAR go to Rockingham GB or EuroSpeedway Lausitz and put on a show.
  • Sterling Crockett
Sterling Crockett Неделю назад @Steve Roberts Actually, 40 other people, but you've got my vote.
